About Jeff Schulte
Jeff has spent more than three decades investing in pastors, executive leaders, and organizations across the country. As a founder, pastor, therapist, counselor, and coach, Jeff brings a rich blend of Biblical and theological training, professional expertise, and extensive real‑world leadership experience to his work.
Jeff founded and pastored a church that grew from four people to more than 4,000 in six years before moving on to start, and lead several successful nonprofit organizations. He has logged tens of thousands of hours with C‑suite executives, world-class athletes, coaches, pastors, ministry, and non-profit leaders, helping them travel the longest eighteen inches on earth - the distance between their head and their heart.
Jeff holds a B.A. in Organizational Behavior, Sociology, and Religious Studies from Yale University; a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) and Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Western Seminary, each with highest honors; and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling (M.A.) with high honors. He is the co-author of Preparing for Marriage (Gold Medallion Award), Wow: The Bible in Seven Minutes a Day (Gold Medallion Award), and Emotions Unveiled: A Bible Study Exploring the Depths of the Heart in Scripture. He is also a co-host of the Return to Heart podcast.
Jeff’s own story powerfully shapes his work. “I thought if I could be successful, life would work. Life did work on the outside but I was dying on the inside…” he says. He knows what it’s like to lead well, yet feel disconnected on the inside. That journey fuels his commitment to invest deeply in the lives of leaders.
Jeff has been married to Brenda for 39 years, father of six grown children, and grandfather of eight and counting — his home base is Nashville, Tennessee.
